Privacy policy

What we collect

• Contact details (name, email, phone) and any free text you send via contact forms, brochure requests, sell enquiries, or service requests.
• Attachments you upload for sell-your-yacht or service enquiries.
• Technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, and analytics cookies you have accepted.

Purpose and legal basis

• Answering enquiries and executing sales, service, or charter agreements (contract, GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
• Legitimate interest in improving the site and preventing abuse (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
• Your consent for optional analytics cookies (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).

Retention

• Enquiries and lead data are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
• Customer data tied to completed transactions is kept as required by law (up to 5 years).
• Analytics data is kept aggregated for up to 26 months.

Third parties

• Data processors providing hosting, email, and analytics — all under data processing agreements and instructed only by us.
• Sunseeker International and Fairline Yachts when you request a new model, brochure, or warranty service — only the data necessary for the request.
• Public authorities when we are legally required.

Your rights

• You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction. You may withdraw consent and complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
• Contact personvern@sundalyacht.no — we respond within 30 days.
